Hi! I’m Kavita, Founder & Lead Planner of Golden Lantern Events, a boutique wedding planning and design studio dedicated to creating beautifully curated celebrations that feel deeply personal and distinctly yours.

My love for planning began early. If there’s a list to be made, I’ve probably already made it. But growing up in a lively West Indian Guyanese family is where my love for celebrations truly took shape. Gatherings were never simply occasions. They were experiences filled with anticipation, beautiful details, meaningful traditions, and the people who mattered most. I became captivated by the art of bringing all those elements together to create something unforgettable.

Today, that same passion is at the heart of Golden Lantern Events.

As a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and WPIC-certified wedding planner, I bring a thoughtful balance of precision, creativity, and calm to every celebration. With a background rooted in organization and an eye for beautiful details, I approach each wedding with intention - thoughtfully curating the experience from the overall vision down to the smallest finishing touch.

From intimate celebrations to full-scale weddings and editorial productions, I create experiences that are personal, polished, and beautifully executed. Our work has also been featured in South Asian Bridal Magazine, reflecting our passion for creating celebrations that are as visually compelling as they are meaningful.
